The Neurologic Complications Associated with Anesthesia in Pediatrics Treated with Radiotherapy Under Anesthesia

Background: Children with brain tumors experience potential neurologic complications when are treated radiotherapy, especially if done frequently under anesthesia. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the associated anesthesia in pediatrics radiotherapy Methods: cross-sectional consisted of 133 pediatric patients a tumor who needed for performing and were referred Omid Charity Hospital Imam Khomeini University from 2014 2020 by census. Statistical values less than 0.05 considered significant (P < 0.05). Results: The range 1 - 8 years, number 3,208 inductions conducted daily radiotherapy. Major such as stroke, arrhythmia, tachyphylaxis, aspiration not observed. There was relationship between side, anesthesia, No differences found demographic data (age, sex, weight) > Conclusions: Anesthesia this slight insignificant. Some either due effect on other vital organs or prior exposure chemotherapy. Thus, providing safe considering body caused it can be great help reduce
